*** NOTICE - The discount room block that the Pipeline Safety Trust negotiated is now closed and completely full. There are still rooms available at the hotel, but the rates are in the $179 - $209 range. Some additional discounts may be available for online reservations or discounts such as AAA.
If you are looking for a hotel with a comparable rate to the earlier discount being offered you might check out the Bienville House - http://www.bienvillehouse.com/ - which is a nice boutique hotel in the French Quarter just a couple blocks from the conference hotel and with rates starting at $139/night.
Hotel Monteleone
All rooms are newly refurbished in beautiful earth tones, conveying a sense of comfort, warmth and relaxation. All have new marble and granite bathrooms and plush amenities. High ceilings and ornamental moldings enhance the French Quarter ambience. You'll notice an attention to detail only possible with family ownership and operation. Reservations may be made by calling (504) 523-3341 or by calling the toll free Group Reservations number at 1-800-217-2033. Guests may also reserve by fax at (504) 528-1019. Reservations must be guaranteed by one night’s deposit or a major credit card. Individual guest room deposits will be refunded if reservations are canceled seventy-two (72) hours prior to date of arrival.
The reservation system will have the conference group posted as the Pipeline Safety Trust. Please identify yourself under the Pipeline Safety Trust to ensure you receive the special group rate.
